British Self Defence Governing BodyThe British Self Defence Governing Body incorporated under authority of Statutory Instrument 1685 The British Self Defence Governing Body was established in 1992 to govern the standards and teaching of self defence, physical interventions and personal safety in the United Kingdom. The BSDGB provides a recognised national standard which all approved organisations and trainers can follow. The BSDGB is a non-profit-making organisation. The BSDGB also provides expert witness services to lawyers in the UK and in other jurisdictions (see separate link).
